    2. I'm no king. there are no kings alloowed in Nornori.
    3. Toss-an-emu and his people are my subjects, just like anybody who live in these lands. They shouldn't be Indiands though as indians and certainly an Indian tribe isn't allowed in Nornori

    4. We have no doctors as doctors aren't allowed in Nornori but we should get rid of those boils though as boils aren't allowed either.

OOC: Any luck on what could be rule on what's allowed and what not?

    Liva concentrates for a moment, then asks three questions in rapid procession;
"Are pits allowed here? What about hedges? Or paper?"
If God is great, and if God is good, why can't he change the hearts of men?"

    5. Hedges are allowed in Nornori, pits and paper aren't.

OOC: I'm numbering my ansers so it's easier to count.
    Any ideas yet?

    Liva's eyes widen.
"I know! I know! I know!", she whispers.
    Out loud, she asks;
"What about peppers? fences? lenses? beds? legs? feet?"

((We are the two characters who took "Puzzle Master" as a skill. How fitting.))
Liva looked with surprise at shepherd. The small boy had been faster than her...
Clearly too into the puzzle to care about sounding even remotely resonable, she said, "Ahhh... No R Nor I. Good thinking, Shepherd. I was moving within the right pattern but using the wrong parameters... Inclusive instead of exclusive... Hmm..."
She sinks into thoughts, staring off into the distance.

((I admit I was working towards words whose only vowels are 'e', but since one of the forbidden letters was a vowel, it did seem to work well))

As the ......... whatever they were... treated John's boils, the rule of the kingdom of Nornori came to him.

    Shepe-d bl-nked. "Oh," he sa-d.

John rubbed his face. "Wow, what kind of medicine did you use? You got all of'e-"

"Ah, but medicine -s not allowed in Nornori!" Sheperd -eto-ted.

Jack raised an eyebrow. "Why are you talking like that?"

"--lence, Jack, it's the RULES," Sheperd said, getting on top of a table and clearing his throat. "Et hem, gentlemen and lady, I have an annoucement to make!"

    The othe-s -n the court went s-lent.

Sheperd addressed the leader of Nornori. "You desc--bed you-self as a "big cat," but su-ely "Big Cats" aren't allowed in Nornori!"

Mu-mu-ing went a-ound in the crowd. Su-ely the l-ttle boy was --ght.

"Also! Th-s is obv-ously some k-nd of a "gathering, meeting, court, committee, or a convention," but none of these a-e allowed -n Nornori!"

    mu-mu--ng grew loude-...

"Although you speak of a "consitution," "constitution" -s not allowed -n Nornori, -n add-tion, we have no "obligation" to follow these rules, for obligation does not exist in Nornori either! Neither can government nor police nor punishment nor ..."

    Sheperd paused.

    "...anything."

Everything inside the courtroom exploded, for universe and the laws of thermodynamics realized it wasn't allowed in Nornori either and chose to leave.

    .................................................................................................... ......................

"What the hell happened?!" Sheperd said. "And why are we suddenly on the road again?"

"Beats me," John said, shrugging his shoulders. "I couldn't understand what you were talking about most of the time anyways."

I'll start the next chapter tomorrow, in the mean time if you know of anybody that would want to join for 2 weeks...

I've asked someone who volunteered a while back to fill in. I haven't gotten an answer though.

This picture is a bit to nightmarish but it's the right creature

The group hiked further up the road, still a bit confused about what expired earlier. A few moments later our heroes pass two lonely poplars reaching so far up that its leaves is out of sight.
"You guys are non-stop amusment, aren't you," laughed a familir voice from above.
"I think that deserves another one of my good advices".

The Poplars shrunk in an instance into the silhouette of Lange Wapper.

"Now that we got you cured, I bet you will want to know the exit to".
Lange produced, not without effort, his unsettling ear-to-ear smile.
"I'll show you where you can find it."

Lange Wapper grabs Livia and runs off with her.
    ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
OK, you all need 3 yang each not to get behind. More will close the distance, less will make you lose terrain.
Livia needs 4 yang in order to escape.

OOC: this was the second try on this intro, the first time the internet ate it.

Liva struggled against the captor, yelling loudly to intimidate him meanwhile. "Let me go!"
Her hands pounded against the limb that kept her clinched to the figure, underlining each punch with a syllable. "Let - me - go - you - mon-ster!"
She felt a throbbing pain as the beast speeded along the ground, the friction against its fur and the rough bumpling along shaking her, but she keeps screaming and pounding at the beast, desperate to be freed.

Jackaloup took off, taking long strides that matched the length of the kidnapper's. Reaching into his pocket as he ran, he pulled out his trusty Boomerang and flung it forward. The projectile made a nasty crack of a sound as it collided with the back of Lange Wapper's head, then began its return to Jackaloup.

Jackaloup and Shepherd immediately started the pursuit. John, somewhat bewildered by the sheer speed of the grab-and-run, didn't react as fast.
Jackaloup threw his boomerang but aiming that thing meant he had to slow down a bit.

With huge strides Lange Wapper tried to put some distance between him and his pursuers.
"This might be the only chance that comes for a long time"
His victim didn't exactly make it easy for him as she kept squirming and beating him. Lange readied himself for another good sprint to be finally rid of those other pesky kids when something hit him in the back of the head. This resulted in a loosened grip for just a fraction of a moment but it is enough for Livia to free herself from Lange's huge arms.
Lange immediately positioned himself between Livia and the rest, who still hadn't caught up, surrounding her with his lengthy arms "You're my ticket out of here, I won't lose you".

With a splash, a huge dog with red eyes jumped out of the body of water in between Shepherd and Jackaloup.
"Whose going to carry me out of here?"

Diamondeye: skill 5, 6 yang successes
    Seon: skill 3, 3 yang
    Chaotix: skill 3, 2 yang

So, Livia escapes (for now), Sheperd keeps up and Chaotix falls behind. I'll assume Beskar's character had only 1 success.
In other words, we now have our four characters all isolated with 2 nemisses.

Dice cap is 6 as usual.
Both Lange Wapper and Kludde are 'nemesis'. You can attack 1 creature at the same time but his dice cap will increase accordingly.
Both Nemesis have 3 chi and high stats so attacking alone isn't the best idea
You are all 1 'space' apart. So in order for you or Kludde/Lange Wapper to be able to attack/close the gap with another character you'll need 1 yang success.

So, I need whar you will do, against who if applicable, and how many dice you reserve for what (yin against every thin, yang against specific obstacles)

OOC: God Emperor, the reserve player, isn't able to pick up where Beskar left off so I'll be looking for an extra player. Any suggestions are welcome.
Also, that picture of that 'dog' is Kludde not Lange Wapper. Perhaps some research may help your characters.

Liva panicked. Behind her was the Kludde; a monster impossible to outrun, since the faster you ran, the faster it chased you. The only way to avoid it was to keep still. But then Lange Wapper would catch her again. She froze for a moment and let Lange Wapper get close before suddenly jerking into motion, grabbing one of his hands and quickly performing a powerful grip-sequence with her trained fingers. A sickening sound followed as several of Lange's fingers broke backwards, the bones snapping.

"Guys! Hit its weakpoints for maximum damage!" Shepherd shouted, panic striken.

Shepherd quickly took out the slingshot he stole from that Indian a while back and shot several bullets at Kludde's "voolnerables" (if you know what I mean).

Also, I have some bad news. Chaotix seems to have dropped out as well so I'll be looking for yet another player. The game will, unfortunatly, be on hold until then.
