Great screenshot guys and girls. Does anyone know if there is a quick way to remove all menues for the SS to be taken, or do you just cut'n'crop in photoshop afterwards?

I took some screenies this afternoon. Nothing special. I just took some pictures while the battle was paused (mom called on the phone during said battle).

I agree, I made that my wallpaper. To me that's probably the single best screenshot from the game I've ever seen.
Heres some pics from my latest Hojo clan campaign.
Hojo forces at the second battle of Sunpu, under the command of Kasahara Ujitane, aka, the Dragon of Sunpu.
Aftermath of the battle of Totomi fields, the Dragon of Sunpu defeats a force twice his size consisting of both Oda and Tokugawa forces - but the price is heavy.
I don't even know where to start with this. The Takeda clan imploded with the death of Takeda Shingen, but only 6 years after this shot his son has united the Hatorri lands and that light blue blob beneath his command. It made me (in the south as the hojo) VERY concerned.
I love this game, narratives pop up out of nowhere and get me attached to my generals and fearing my enemies in a real gameplay sense.
Indeed once my Metsuke donned his white robes he became very hard to resist and in this case the Koku spoke volumes..He took the ill gotten coin and in the process effectively sealed the once mighty Takeda's fate...
Nice pics guys keep em coming
Screens from the Seige of Inazawa in 1566 -
I like that last pic the most. All the destruction at the foot of a shinto-shrine.
The war with the Takeda has spiraled into a full fledged realm divide, with the Hojo Alliance consisting of the Hojo, the Oda, the Mori and the Date against the Ashikaga, the Takeda, the Chokosabe. The Christian Sagara (in firm control of Kyushu) and the Ikko-Ikki are also fighting for the Shogunate, surprisingly. It's been one heck of a fight with multiple areas of conflict. The Mori are fighting on Shinkoku and Kyushu against the Sagara and Chokosabe respectively while myself, the Oda and the Date struggle in central Honshu.
Great pics Monk. The shot with your forces entering the river is my Fav here..
How do you get so many friends? I keep making war with everything and everyone eventually =S Usually sometime around turn... 30 or something, everyone hates me =p
You have a good eye with that in-game camera, Monk. Nice shots!

I play with a milder realm divide event which allows me to keep allies past the breaking point. Most clans will still go to war with me and refuse to surrender, but at least this way I can keep my vassals and closest allies intact.
Once i defeated the Oda-Tokugawa, mentioned in my last screenshot post I decided to turtle. I was close to RD (i'd won so many big victories) and I didn't wanna push it so soon. So I spent 40 turns (ten years) turtling and trading with absolutely everyone on the map. That boosted my tech to absurd levels and let me build relations with pretty much everyone to the point that a "super alliance" was possible. I poured most of my efforts into civil tech to get Epic Architecture, and in the process got a lot of the diplomatic bonuses.

Milder realm divide?
What mod is this? I'd really love from some stronger alliances to last more than half way through the game =p
On a sidenote, I read those AARs of yours, they are pretty interesting and inspiring reads =)
Many of the major mods now incorporate changes to the RD event by default. I know Darthmod completely changes it for example.
The standard, standalone RD mod can be found here: http://www.twcenter.net/forums/showthread.php?t=436082 - which changes the RD to be a small relations hit (-55 relations) that slowly goes away as time goes by. Mods like this wont prevent clans from declaring war, but they are more than enough to ensure vassals/allies will stay on your side, provided your relations are high enough.
Its always nice to hear people enjoyed them. Shogun 2 is the first TW game in a very long time to inspire some fun narratives for me. If you let yourself get immersed into the atmosphere of the game, it can really shock you in how deeply you're trying to keep certain generals alive, or wary of certain enemies. As an example, my recent Hojo campaign featured a number of heroes who rose to prominence against the Oda clan. When i went to war with the Takeda, many of those heroes died. By the time Realm divide hit, most of my greatest heroes might've been gone, but a new generation was taking their place as the fighting became heavier. On a sidenote, I read those AARs of yours, they are pretty interesting and inspiring reads =)
I'm thinking about doing another AAR leading up to the next expansion. Should be fun provided inspiration hits
