    Default Screenshot conundrum

Hi guys can anyone help with this problem. When I save the screenshots from the Steam library to my Mac looks ok as a JPeg which I then upload onto here as a jpeg. Only thing is despite all my efforts it only appears on my post 'Rise of The Horse Lords' as a thumbnail

    Any suggestions?

Upload to an image service such as Photobucket and you can link from there.

Yup doing that already John-using Imageshack and as I say looks fine until I actually post the link and then it appears as a thumbnail-most annoying...

How are you linking? I use photobucket and just use the IMG code, which I can copy paste to the org. I imagine Imageshack has something similar.

You sure? Here's what you put:

    Compared to what I do:

When you look at the pictures in Imageshack is there a code similar to the [IMG][/IMG] in my example? You just put the link directly into the AAR, no need to upload anything to the org.

Well I've tried 'link', 'direct link' and 'forum code' and the only one that works is 'direct link' but ends up being a thumbnail. I wonder if it's the fact that it;s the Steam screens. I use similar for my Galactic Civilisations game and that 'direct link' see,s to work fine for that...

The only other thing I can suggest is uploading to Photobucket and linking from there, I've never had any issues with linking to the org with them. Not sure if you want to open another account to get them working though.

Ho ho ho, I just realised what your problem is. When you insert an image and choose "From URL" there is a small box that says "Retrieve remote file and reference locally". Uncheck that box and your link should work fine
