Mare nostrum new stratagy game similar to total war!

greetings guy's i would like to announce an new project Called mare nostrume which would be an RTS that will be similar to the total war games! yes i will be making this i plan to give you a preview of some stuff i'm doing later as my models get completed

First order of bussiness is that this would all be free 2 play

second order of bussiness is to list the game features

- Watch your empire grow on a turn based campaign map then command your armys via the real time battle map
- Historical accurate units! no mummy returns egyptians no pink parthians or war pigs/hounds etc
- City view, visit your city's during peace time and gaze at there butiefull buildings (inspired by rome total war)
- riots and civil war's and rebellions
- every faction on the map will be playable (no dlc required)
- MODDING TOOLS!
- Game will be extremely moddable with editable campaign map
- HUGE MAP
- civil elections
- much much more

Pharoah, in every interview I've read from a game designer, they always tell new folks to start out small. Don't begin by trying to make a big game, a medium sized game, or even a small game. Make a tiny game. Once you're done, make more tiny games. You will learn a great deal about how games are made and what you want to make by doing that.

How does C++ change from what its normally used for to being only used in RTW?

I wasn't talking about just programming a game, but all aspects of the game; making a game.

Okay, I see you are trying to do something but what you have in hand is far from qualifying as a topic of The Arena discussion.

I do indeed understand that coming up with ideas have always been a thrilling ride inside of one's brain however may they be about a game or a short story, you have got to construct something with them before you can show it off to other people. Most of us have ideas yet very little takes it further with the power of imagination, determination, knowledge and material sources. I hope you will eventually become one of them however I have to close this discussion for now.
