WE'RE GOING TOO DEEP, ABORT, ABORT)
Jerusalem and Adana are under siege
Nicosia would serve well to be in Egyptian hands...
We hereby offer a NAP to the Byzantines, what are your terms?

That you shall take no lands further North than Antioch. (excepting if you go over into europe or the like)

You claim all the anatolia/seljuk territory? In return for a NAP and offer nothing more?
No, Roman... This will not do.
And what exactly should we offer? We hand you all of the Holy Land without quibble.

You hand us nothing, we take what is rightfully ours and already in our grasp. We could just as easily "hand" you the balkan and the westernmost anatolia.
We offer a guarantee of peace in return for one and inquire regarding taking over Nicosia. All of this is on equal and fair terms and we would have our dealings be handled as such.
20 Turn NAP, signed under god and men alike for the assured prosperity of both our peoples.
We hand over Nicosia? That is absurd. We shall maintain Nicossia and will take control of ALL of Anatolia. What would you think if we swept in and took Edessa, Jurasalem, and the like? You would like it little as these lands clearly fall inside your interests, just as Anatolia falls within ours.

Our inquiries for a takeover of Nicosia have been rejected outright, understandable. We where hoping to come to some agreement where you would have it as leverage... perhaps for land based claims? But as you wish.
Should you attempt to grab holdings in the holy land, that would be your own business assuming said lands are not in Egyptian hands, allies of Egypt or anything but the loosest grounds.
But indeed, we would prefer these lands to be under our influence, just as you would the balkan. This is exactly our point regarding your statement of "handing" over lands, with the addition of stating that you have few ways of enforcing Roman rule here as we have Egyptian in the balkans! Its a void offering, one of empty words based upon an illusion of superiority.
However, Romans... Adana is under siege and about to be captured by our forces, our claim over it is about to be enforced. Do you press claim over it and indeed ALL of the anatolia?
You have yet to respond to our offer of a NAP
We have threatened no one, not even you and your loose tongue.
Jerusalem will be ours, as will most if not all the middle east excluding some of the anatolia.

If you give the pilgrims free passage to the holy grave, spain can agree with your claim on Jerusalem.
We would also strongly suggest you don't help the Moors either military or financially as they took teritory that is rightfully ours.

As your forces are already at Adana that can be accepted, but any moves further into Anatolia shall be considered a direct threat to the Empire. If you can agree to this we will gladly sign a NAP.

So, you agree to a NAP on the terms we advance no further into the anatolia?
You may have some holdings over its western parts, but to claim all of it from our fellow Muslim brothers?
We are to be restricted and shunned, yet you are to roam free and conquer?
No, we cannot agree to this for we seek equal terms.
We again, offer you an unconditional NAP or demand something in return for the restriction.
If you want the anatolia, take it before we do.
Let it be known that Jerusalem will welcome all pilgrims and assure their safety, however preachers of other factions causing unrest are barred.

Anatolia is rightly ours, and shall be within the next few years. If you refuse to respect our borders than why should we respect yours? Marking Anatolia as our domain, and the Holy land as yours, is precisely equal. You are simply trying to bully your way into the agreement you desire.

Rightfully yours as much as ours, if not moreso ours.
I dont call for you to stay out of the holy lands whom we already all but control, yet you call for us to stay out of the anatolia whom you hardly control?
Dont lay claim to what you are yet to have. If you worry outsiders taking control of what you view as yours then you cannot rightfully to call it yours or your borders... the notion is absurd.
Try to take the holy lands if you wish, we dont mind. You do mind us going into the anatolia, for us to stray from doing so you should offer us something.
Or you could do the easy thing and TAKE it before we do whilst having a bloody nap to be assured of "your borders being respected". We will not hold from expanding into the anatolia whom is by no means yours.
We are talking in circles and getting nowhere -.-'
Very well, you are showing that you have no desire to actually work with the Empire, and as such we shall not sign a NAP with you.

"That the Fatamid diplomat cannot conceive of his own attitude and how much apparent it is from the way he talks is... disturbing. England rests on the other end of the known world but, in time, we shall revisit the issue of Jerusalem, Catholic priests and all."\

As to the news of our own realm - our good King has claimed the entirety of the Kingdom of France as his birthright (he is the Duke of Normandy and recently annexed several French provinces), and should be crowned as King of England, France and Scotland in the following year. All rulers of note are invited to send envoys at the coronation in Westminster Abbey when the joyous event comes to pass.
We urge the Kaiser of the Holy Roman Empire to form prosperous trade and bonds of friendship with England and turn his gaze from our Kingdom of France, as well as the independent port of Antwerp.

Am in a bit of a rush as I will be leaving for travels and be afk from Friday onwards for the next week.
Apologies for not taking part in the diplomatic life during that time - dont take my silence for disinterst or rejection.
His majesty Rodrigo of spain can agree with the English rights on the French throne. He wants to give a NAP. He offers to make a border around the pyrinees. Spain will not go north of said border if England doesn't go south of this border. What do you say?
He also offers bonds of friendship and wants to trade. His majesty will send a diplomat as soon as possible.
