Problem with the Imperial Campaign on Mac

Today I sucessfully downloaded EB on my Mac using Feral's instructions. However when I got onto the game, a campaign had already started as the Sauromatae and when I tried to start the Imperial Campaign it said that I needed to select something from the list. In addition to this none of the Historical battles appear on the screen, only the image and the selection screen appear. The custom battle works, but each faction appears to have the same types of units. I left EB to find out an answer to my problems and when I went back on, the Sarmatian campaign had disappeared. Does anyone know how I could fix this
