Delay so they can focus on the new Rome era games, one of which is Attila.
But I doubt they would simply kill the project, though sony might release one in the interim.
Remember Warhammer: Shadow of the Horned Rat?
Sony gave us WarCraft.
Remember Warhammer Online?
Sony gave us World of WarCraft.
So don't be surprised if they give us WarCraft Warlord's or some other cheesy hack title just to piss them off and leech the target audience, yet again! ;P
This happened today: http://www.rockpapershotgun.com/2015...mer-confirmed/
A fellow named strom of razors on TWC had an early copy of the book Art of Total War and official CA book. In it, he found this:
It seems to be the confirmation of the title which should be announced in a few days seeing that its already spoiled. I seriously hope that they dont screw it up this time.

Just found out that there will be no mod support for this game, as apparently Games Workshop is very protective of things like this. As one Redditor said,
Expecting Mod Support when Games Workshop is involved is like expecting the SS to hand out ice cream after they finish burning a village.
GW are very trigger happy when it comes to their IP.

So who is making this then? CA or Game Workshop (whoever the hell that is)?
Well the IP belongs to Games Workshop, but CA is making it. Which means that GW has IP rights so they can say no to modding. Doesnt mean there will be no modding, as the TW community is good when it comes to things like this (Empire had basically no mod support and they still managed to make great mods for it), but dont expect Steam Workshop support or anything of the sort, which sucks.
