mtw vs legion

I was wondering if anyone has also played legion from paradox and if so, how would you rate the game vs mtw and why.

I played legion. It bears a superficial resemblence to MTW but is (in my opinion) far inferior. In general all of the production values ae lower: graphics, sound etc. If the game play was good all that would be forgiven but the game was poorly executed as well. It had a poor AI that compensated by always allying against you, a convoulted building tree and really weird economic mechanisims. THe tactical game was truly appaling. I recommend giving it a pass. It's too bad since I love the Roman period. You could give the Great Battle games a try if your a Rome fan. Their not perfect but you can get them pretty cheap nowadays.
