    Question

Don't get pissed off me asking so many questions i'm new here and i need help.

    1. How can I trade by sea? I know I have to have a unbroken line of ships betwen two ports. Do they have to be a ports of other countrys?

    2. What is the best cavalry and infantry in your opinion?
Mine is the Cothic knight and the infantry is the Swiss Armoured Pikeman.

    1. Yes another country you are not at war with. So as you conquer the world your trade income is cut. Effectively you as the king charge a duty on traded goods.

    2. Fair enough choices there. Personally I just like bog standard Chivalric Knights and Gothic Foot.

BTW there is no reason for us to be pissed off with you, this is exactly what the entrance hall is for. Once you get to know the game and the forum you can be promoted so you can get involved in the other discussions. (yes you too can talk about breasts in the Tavern&#33.

They've hit most of it so ill just add on. Port, trading post, unbroken line of ships, and other faction needs port. Gotta watch your sea spaces, and supposedly if you have v1.1 you can hit v or cntl v and see which spaces are yours, theirs or in conflict.

I like almohad urban militia and suck at cavalry right now heh.

    #1. Been answered.

#2. My personal infantry unit of choice; for the early period anyways, is they Byzantine Infantry; since they break up the very common spearmen that other factions tend to focus on. For cavalry, Royal Knights work pretty well; they're usually led by a very good combat guy, and they're fast enough to maneuver to the side / rear, and when they charge in, they tend to cause some major casualties.

    Trade question seems answered.

Boyers Most versatile cavalry in the game and they seem to be able to stand up to almost anything.

Infantry is tough. Janissary Heavy are simply frightening-but they take forever to get; SAP are great...in SP I just never seem to be able to get Switzerland:(
