The year is 1276 and both the pope and the Italians still rfuse to disband there armies in the vastness of this empire so I had quickly destroyed the 2 small fleets that the Italians own while invading Sicily where the pope was at. The pope stood his ground on the battlefield but was executed by the men that had captured him while the rest fleed to the castle. Immediatley the next year I had invaded Sardinia now that all sea lanes were clear. Although they only had 200 men they were all royal knights. Even thought they were brave and charged into my lines they retreated shortly after there king had been killed in battle. This is where I had decided to light off all fire works for the final battle of this grandempire as I had brought all siege artillery to this island. Upon bringing the siege to an end the little fort that they had on this island was a laugh compared to what the rest of euorope has but none the less the artillery had completely smashed the fort to pieces and had left all but 5 royal knights left from the bombardment it was time to bring on the charge and decimate for not submitting to my armies
