The defensive unit I like most is definitely HC. I h8 both nagis and ys.

Lol you would like to defend against incoming ys with that tera mate?
I like YS since they are good at blocking cav their speed is good and they can hold. Nag are overpriced but they have their good sides like being a total pain if they are on hold formation and have a slight height advantage.

I don't like YS because of their morale...no matter how much honour you beef them up...they will run the FIRST when under difficulty...

Btw, the difference between cavs is big - especially between a HC and YC/NC.
The HC will kill slowly. But it will die slowly.
The NC will kill fast. But it will die fast.
A HC wins a NC.
A YC wins a NC.
A YC doesn't win a monk.
A NC wins a monk, with great losses.
A HC wins a monk, with few losses.

A HC is clearly a defensive-slanted unit, but because of it's attacking qualities (mainly speed and 'big' size), it can be used for attack too. That's why it's overall the best.

Agree on the speed (thus charging bonus) part.

Strongly disagree on the size thing. I think it should be the other way around: the smaller the size, the better.

Reason: compare infantry with cavalry, if not considering the charging bonus, I'll say infatry always have a upper hand. Because of the size diffrence, one can pack more infantry than cavalry given the same room. Thus we are taking about higher "concentration" of men power.

Hmmm
Its a toss up between Nagi and HC for defense. I personally dont care for YS that much. As for offense - I like BN, NC and WM. When facing a group of YC - trap em with Nagi and then hit em in the flank. Personally, I think ND are over-rated. They won't stand against Nagi or WM. WM have a slightly higher defense, and thus are more useful. After a head to head encounter, WM's still have the moral and numbers to be used as flankers or bait. ND often are too hammered to be useful after a head on battle.

HC all the way on defense, although I wont use any if I think there will be a big gun battle...I hate to see the costly buggers killed by stray bullets.

Yestie me and Shoko tested the great Nag. Everything on hold.

Monks won them. HC won them. NC won them. and Nods gave them a very tough battle.
