What is it ?
It's a 1v1 Tournament for MTW VI

For who is it ?
All MTW VI players, clanned players, ronins, noobs, veterans, all are welcome.

What's different?
players will play early,high and late era rounds.
Spend your money wise for it's transferred to the next round

Any prizes ?
Eternal fame in the Total War realm

I've also contacted Ritchie if he'd be willing to give the winner a copy of RTW. -no reply yet.

How many people can join ?
Up to 32 players can enter.

One question on the rules:
One round constits of 2 battles. I assume you have to use the same army cobmination for both. Or can you choose a different one for attacking and defending ?


Oh, and I am in GMT, prefered times weekday evenings, if that makes matchmaking easier.

You can always have 64 entry instead of 32 (i.e. one more round). I am sure it will fil up

You could make it 8 five player double round robins to handle 40 with an 8 player elimination after that.

I could enter 40 persons,20,10, and then have 5 remaining in round 4, where 1 would have to be eliminated to enable 2 1v1's.



Here's my proposal : enter all 40, in round 4 the one with the least money remaining or with the lowest avarave CWB score remaining is dropped from the tournament. (but this is kind of lame for the one who is dropped)


adding another round and 32 more spots is an option, but I highly doubt that we can get 24 more players to join.

Or I can stick to the orignal 32, which means 8 people who signed up (last 8) dont get to play.

I'd like to get some opinions from all who entered.

I am sure that you can get additional 24 players. The 32 places filled up within a few days. And having 1 more round is the easiest solution.

BTW, round robin means that everyone plays everyone.

Ok, i tell you what you do--- make these 8-9 extra guys play eachother in single elimination to earn the 1 spot. They were late and are lucky for the chance to compete (is how I see it).

I agree with Bachus not to expand the tourney - if you try to expand your tourney too much it'll become unmanageable.

I tried to put players of equel calibre vs one another.

Too bad I don't know half of them from 1v1, and the other half I faced months ago, but I think it's fair now

1) In first round do I have to use 2 faction?
(1 faction attack/1 faction def)..or can i use same?

2) Can i also use different amount of floorins in def/attack?

3) Is Artillery allowed?
