I have started frequenting this forum only recently, having played only one PBM game. So I apologize beforehand if my post has been hashed before
I was looking for a post/faq/thread that lists all active (and completed ) PBMs. Is there one? And if not, are there plans to have one done?
What I would ideally like to see is a stickified post at the top of the forum that lists all active PBMs and where they are in the game.
For example (using fictional player and PBM names):
Active PBM : English Glory
England/VI 2.01/Early/Hard/GA mode started by Master Khan
Alfred I (1088-1110) by Master Khan
John II (1111-1135) by soloman
Alfred II (1135-?) currently in play by dr. evil
next players on list are: braveheart, iceman, maverick. New players welcome.
Active PBM : Spanish Conquest
Spain/MTW 1.1/Early/Normal/Conquest mode started by game_addict
Alfonso VI (1088-1100) by jinan
Alfonso VII(1101-1130) by zoro
Sancho I (1130-1170) by soloman (writeup pending)
Garc I (1171-?) currently in play by game_addict
next on list are: (This is a first come, first serve PBM).

Completed PBM: The Kings of Poland
Wladyslaw I (1089-1120) by marcopolo

Ideally, the King's name would link to the write up of that king (if not possible to link to a particular post, have the PBM name link to the thread).
The purpose of this table of contents is :
1. Help those of us with intermittent free time to quickly catch up on which threads have updated (just checking the last post date does not work because most of the time the last post is a comment/question etc.. and not a writeup).
2. To show which factions are under-represented in the PBMs. (BTW, has there ever been a French PBM? they seem very unpopular).
3. Help new players (like myself) spot potential PBMs they can join.
