Will the arrows go through the skeletons? The arrows could go in between the ribs. That'll be funny and awesome.

Yeah... rome: total war can't do that. sorry. The game engine just won't support that.
here are the arjuna chariots for the indian faction (sadly rtw won't allow for 4 horse chariots as far as i can see):

yeah, but it looks pretty bad. Look, only two of the horses are actually in the harness that connects to the chariot. The outer two are just running along with them for the fun.
I'll have to check that out, cheers.
here are the first indian elephant unit:
..and the indian war elephants:
Those elephants look really good especially the first lot and the quality of all the units you make are amazing. However i think there is one problem with the elephants. The skinning is awesome but with the war elephants in particular the armour looks like a part of the elephants skin rather than seperate metal armour. I belive this is to do with the model rather than skin and i can see how this would take a lot of work but i think it would look a lot better if the model was altered.
But keep up the good work, and quality of this mod is amazing.
spiggin awesome!
Very impressive hoggy as per usual. Any news on the 4horse chariots?
here are royal elephants for Krishnapur:
Crap, those things are huge!
Very purty, tho'.

Those are pretty massive. Awesome.
Just one thought though. The archer box looks kind of bland from a distance. I think if you changed it to one large design on each side it would look better. Perhaps a battle scene or a religious symbol. It doesnt have to be overly intricate.
hoggy! u legend of a modeller/skinner those elephants look great! keep it up!
good sweet nana those are cool!!
Aren't those elephants a little too big?
That looks excessive after the size of the war elephants. They're 2, 3 times as large. . . .
THey do look pretty though. I like the archer tower, and the white color. Very different for an elephant.
Not to big this is fantasy.

Oh yeah, and me likey those new huge war elephants...
ONe thing though...will there be...er...some really tropical vegetation to go with them? Gotta have tropical vegetation to go with the Indian faction...

Basing that they are from a hot country, I do not doubt that their forests shall be somet like large jungley-looking plants.
Oh yeah, wouldn't the war elephants have some sort of tusk weaponry such as tied-down spikes? Being war elephants, I would think they would have some sort of tusk weapon to ensure how deadly they really were.

Hi Hoggy fantastic work as usual , I have a question for You tough , I have tried to make a new unit using a new skeleton but this makes my game ctd everytime , I followed the Vercingetorix tutorial .....
use the shell then type something like scale fs_swordsman_German 1.1 , then I add this to the descrmodel battle text and doesnt work.....
U know how to make this work?

did you put the same scale in descr_model_battle as you scaled the skeleton by? You need to add the scale factor there too.
here is the Krishnapur General with his bodyguard (who also act as unit officers):
Even in a fantasy mod, the humans should look like they do in real life, and that guy is almost skeletal, look at his arms! As a maharaja or prince or what-have-you, i would expect him to have a lot more meat on his bones.
I think that the units so far are great - particularly the demons! The Indian officer looks so dignified and noble, but you just know that he could kick some arse in a tight spot !
