Ok, slowly easing back into unit building. The pace won't be a fast as the past month but steady. Here are the chinese elite cavalry:

!!! fantastic stuff Vercingetorix! That's excellent news. Do we have to scale up new animations and edit the text file or is it just in the text file?

Nope you don't have to touch the animations. You just create a new skeleton(I've simplified the process in two ways, one that you can choose to simply use the same animations of the base skeleton to save space. And two the program automatically adds the files to the pack.dat if you do want to change animations).

Then you just hit 's', select your skeleton, and then enter the scale value. Next you open descr_model_battle.txt and add the line "scale x" where 'x' is the same value as the one you just entered in the editor. Hope that makes sense I think I've made the whole process simpler now

Im thinking it might be cool if the Wang Liang threw a volley of those big sphere things before they charged like legionaires. You would only need to apply the javelin animation and remodel a javelin into a ball. That could be a cool touch.

i would say dont expect a release till after the expansion pak for rome is out. these things take time.
