Downloaded HTW but it won't play

Hi all.
I've donwloaded both downloads for HTW but wen i click on either of them 2 play,the MTW:viking logo thing comes up as if its loading,then it goes of an nothin happens.

I've tried playing the viking xpansion an that seems to be working fine.

Any help would be greatly appretiated.

The game is not installed in the correct MTW folder, the selfinstaller will install the game to the default MTW installation folder in:

C:\Program Files\Total War\Medieval - Total War

Now if you have installed it some where else on your harddrive you have to select the proper folder by hand and install HTW into this folder.
