    Hi. I am trying to create single player historical battles, but I am having a problem. How do I tell Shogun what clan a general is from? For example, if I was creating a scenario with Oda Nobunaga, how could I make him and his troops from the Oda clan? (so that their banners, etc. would be yellow)

    Are you talking true historic custom battles like Axial's? If so, on his site he has a how-to.

    If you're just setting up a custom battle it's just a click option.

    What's your battle?

    True historical battles like Axial's. I've been to his site, but all of the how to's and stuff were in Japanese.

    Ok everyone I finally figured this one out. Here's how you do it.

    Player::"Takeda Shingen_xzy" 5 5 LOCAL "Takeda Shingen" 0 true
    17383 8289 180

    In the "battle".bdf (with "battle" being the name of the battle in question) file, the first of the 2 #'s after The "General's Name_xzy" determines the unit flag colors for the Specific General. Here's The key:

    0 = White (Rebels & Ronin)
    1 = Green (Shimazu)
    3 = Yellow (Oda)
    4 = Light Blue (Imagawa)
    5 = Black (Takeda)
    6 = Purple (Hojo)
    7 = Blue (Uesugi)
