In the interest of creating a game playing environment that encourages a growing multiplayer community with the highest levels of skill and sportsmanship

On my personal honour I hereby accept and support the following Code of Honour

* To be courteous, respectful, patient, and kind, to all players, even if they are not in return.

* To be helpful to any who would ask for my assistance, even when it is inconvenient for me.

* To be slow to take offence and quick to apologize, realizing that the majority of disagreements are only misunderstandings.

* To enter the game with a salute, and leave it with a salutation, consistent with good sportsmanship.

* To base my strategies and tactics on applied skill, never taking advantage of weakness in the game’s design or programming.

* To be considerate of my allies, never leaving a team game until all of my resources are spent, and with their acknowledged consent.

* To never quit a game if I am hosting, always making sure that the combat has reached full conclusion for all participants.

* To announce my claims of victory with humility, and to admit my defeats graciously, acknowledging the outstanding skill of others.

* And finally, to strive to always be aware that our community consists of a wide diversity of people from all over the world,

and that my behavior should always equally be, world class!

The Total War Multiplayer’s Code of Honour

The Code is for anyone who believes in self respect, respecting others, and fair play. You do not have to be a multiplayer to believe in these things; in fact you don’t have to play any games at all to consider The Code an excellent path for life in general, and to support it. The more Signers there are, the greater the possibility that the influence of The Code will prevail even among non Signers, and our community be a better place for it.

The Code is not an honour bestowed; but a pledge made! Whether the Signer adheres to the tenets proposed or not, let the little badge be a thorn in their side to remind them that once they had a noble ambition. It can also be there to alert others as to disreputable characters, when their actions do not match their promises.

The Code is the spirit of all of the best things we are capable of. When you wear the badge, you affirm the environment that you wish to operate in. It tells people that you are a person who is trying to make a difference. And they will be able to verify this by your actions, and know that you have a consistency of character.
