Ambuscade by Barocca (modded version of BKB frankish_ambush)
Flavius Aetius is leading a column through the night to make a surprise raid on a Frankish encampment.
Clovis, a Frank General, has had reports of Roman troops moving and has laid an ambush. 

His informant was wrong, there are far more Romans than he believed, and wily Flavius decided to take a different route. 
The Ambush is discovered.

:: best played on hard, can be won by either side.
As the Romans you are spread out and must decide to take the attack to the Franks, or recieve their charge.
A wise Frank general would let his archers soften the Romans up a little.

Overload is possible, it's not a 100 mbit connection. I'ld advise to use a downloadmanager there so you can resume.

the unscripted BKB battles really show us the AI properly, AND IT APPEARS TO BE IMPROVED!appart from suicidal generals.
