    Indeed, as Legio said, we have reached an agreement.

    Long last both mods, Byzantium Total War and Age of Vikings and Fanatics: Total War!!!

    As for the exchange, we are open for discussions.
    When will the Magyar and Khazar models and skins be finished?!

    Hm, the exact dates aren't known at the moment. In fact we haven't even started with those yet. skeletor and ScionTheWorm wanted to skin Khazars and Magyars, respectively. If they don't do it soon, our third skinner, QuickDagger, might want to do it. In any case, if you have an official release date for B:TW, then I'll try to make the team let go of what they do atm to do magyars and khazars instead, so that the cooperation doesn't result in any problems for either of the parts, i.e., so that your release date will have to be pushed forward because we didn't do our part. How is the progress of B:TW at the moment?

    Sure, and you should of course write a special thanks to AOVAF and the skinners on the AOVAF team that made the magyar and khazar skins. Who those skinners are isn't decided yet.

    - Thematic Kataphraktoi 1------ Heavy Provincial Cavalry (Lance / Sword)
    - Skoutatoi ------------ Heavy Provincial Infantry (Pike / Sword)
    - Psiloi Toxotai ------------ Unarmored Archers (Bow / Hand Axe)
    - Trapezitae ------------ Light Provincial Cavalry (Javelin / Sword)
    - Hippeis Toxotai 1 ------------- Native Horse Archer Cavalry (Bow / Sword)

    (AOVAF have named some of them slightly differently, so whoever looks at the AOVAF tech tree for byzantines might not know exactly which units I'm referring to.)

    Edyz could you make a similar list from our tech trees to see which of our magyar and khazar units you'll be able to use? I'll make a list of bulgar units we can use once you've made your list of bulgar units and we've also made our Bulgar tech tree (for us it's also still under construction).

    From the list, we made the following:

    Skoutatoi
    Psiloi Toxotai(we have the same names)

    The Varangians, we have 2 versions. Round shaped shield(early unit) or a kite shaped shield(late unit).

    Ok, I'll do that stuff.
    For the Bulgars, no work started yet. But I'll tell the guys to start on.

    Just wondering if we can do the same between Arthurian TW and AOVAF.
    Legio I told you about it few months ago. ScionTheWorm told me that he was pretty ok under some conditions.
    Today we got skins and models, all made by blindfaith , of Britons warriors of the V-VIth century, including AoR units.

    We can cooperate on the following factions :
    - Gaelic/Irish factions plus some Picts
    - Brythonic/Welsh factions
    - Saxons factions
    eventually some Frankish, thought yours are Carolingian/Capetians Franks and ours Merovingians

    It will be trully a great thing for us, thinking about that 2 main members of our team are also involved with AOVAF : Ranika and Blindfaithnogod

    @Agraes: Have you completed your army lists/tech tree lists so it's possible to see which units can be exchanged? Would make things easier to start from making a list of possible exchanges. Then, as I said before, I consider it up to the individual skinners/modellers on the team to choose if they want to share a skin/model. Too unique touches we can't share, but well-known historical units whose appearance is known can be be shared.

    For bulgars we can use:
    - Town Militia, Urban Militia (but those are generic ones so we might be making our own)
    - slav bowmen = our bowmen
    - slav javelinmen
    - bulgar archers

    - slav spearmen = our slavic militia spearmen
    - bulgar spearmen = our slavic spearmen
    - chimnnik

    - Zera
    - Bulgarian boyars
    - Bulgarian Bagatur Cavalry

    - Chigot swordsmen

    We could exchange Rus units, but our tech tree isn't entirely finished yet. Depending on how much units we recieve and you recieve, we can share work on those Rus units that can be shared in a way so that we give as many units as we take, to make it fair . So, which Rus units can you use?

    -Varangian axemen(we want these because it's different from what we have...)

    No, not at all. But if it's a unit based on very exact historical descriptions, you can expect ours to be very similar anyway... If not, then I understand your rationale behind it, otherwise I'll just have to accept it . The cooperation must be acceptable for both parts, after all. It looks at the moment like you'll contribute to more than we will contribute with, so it seems sensible that AoVaF creates all of the Rus units you wanted to make the exchange fair. But we'll see exactly how it turns out when we present the final lists.

    The Thematic and Tagmatic cavalry, are basically normal cavalry units, with a little more attack and armour.

    So, do a Kataphraktoi, edit the stats and you have a Thematic Kataphraktoi.
