unpleasant experience on gamespy chat

Whilst playing multiplayer through the game itself, someon on the Chat ("powered by Gamespy") perfectly duplicated my username and posted disagreeable comments whilst I was right there, in the lobby!

How is this possible?

They used the number 0 instead of the letter o. You can tell the difference very slightly (I believe the 0 is slightly fatter, although it could be the other way round), or you could turn on GS where the difference is a plain as daylight.

The difference is also noticeable once you are in a game, but in the lobby its very hard to detect.

You are in with some great company, the list of folks who have been aliased is long and full of famous vets.
