    Giskard,

I just looked at your Empire version 2 campaign and saw that you have completely NEW colors for Burgundy. HOW did you DO this?????

I (and from what I've seen, several others here) would LOVE to know how you did that. Please, please, please, pretty please? With sugar, honey and a cherry on top?

    Gracias,

I supose seen as it is a completely
new colour that is the reason you
could not discribe it.It would have
better if he had used a colour we had seen
before, and it's not nice of him to
tell us what this new colour is called.
I'd love to see it but I probably
would not recognise it as a colour.
Do you reckon it's from outer space.
It could also be the case that you
    where very vauge he he.

So tell us is a blue a green a red
a red bluy greeny colour, or is really
that new that it can not be described
    with words.I'm wondering is it
    a sugery,honey,cherry colour?
I'd like to know too but if you said the colour I would not need to download it right
now and find out,as I'm quite busy
but this will affect our work greatly
    if it is the case.
So could you tell us please?
    regards
    LK

    LK,

I do SO apologize! I was so overcome by what I was looking at that I immediately got on here to post my question and didn't even think to tell the colors or anything. Mea culpa.

OK, the colors he did are for the Burgundians and the Swiss. What freaked me out and why I came on here to post is that, besides the flags and shields, which I know we CAN mod, he changed the BASES!!!!

And, the Swiss base is silver top and black bottom. The Burgundians are a gold top (the pale gold of the Novgorod shield, a true gold) and a POWDER blue base. Lighter than the Russians (who are in this mod) and even lighter than Novogorod.

So, that's what I saw that made my jaw drop and my brain leave me. I do so apologize for leaving everyone in the dark. This mod is at the RespawnUK site, called EmpireV2.

Now, I still wants to know how it was done, so I can fix the Spanish and English to have pretty bases like everyone else.

Well I spent hours and hours painting each pixel by hand...Well no i didnt but it makes me look smart to say I did

Actually all i did was enable Burgundy faction.

As its not used by default, enabling it introduces new colours and new flags.

    Sorry if this disappoints you.

    Hi,

Giskard, I suppose I should have expected that. Sigh. I thought you'd found something. Oh well. We can all hope they open more parts of the game up to editing after the patch. (Events, colors, etc.)

Sorry to raise false hopes, everybody,

    Hi there Giscard!

So hows your rearranged map doing? Man, you've surely gone where no one has gone before. I was wondering, if you have time in the future, would you be interested in rearranging the MTW map for this war of the Roses mod I'm working on? It basically uses mainland Europe as England, the British isles as Wales, Scandinavia as Ireland, Asia Minor as a 'zoom map' for Yorkshire, Palestine as a zoom map for the Midlands and Africa as a zoom map for the South.

Not urgent at all, just if you have the time and inclination.

    About the colour thing
I tought this was the case
oh well we still have the patch to come.
If you play battles with the burgundians
you get thier colour as well.
ShadesWolf did this in the demo.

    Gis,
it's not clever to paint pixel by pixel
    he he

You certainly have better things to do
    Keep up the good work.

    Lol Krazy

    My camp map:
Well all the really hardwork is done. I am at the bug fix stage. Trouble is the game doesnt have any dugging features to help mod makers out so its hard fixing the bugs that have appeared.

I eventually shelfed the project because I realised there was no way my sites bandwidth could cope with the demand from this community.

So I have restricted my selve to making smaller mods. Thats where most of the fun is anyway and not having to rewrite all the boundry changes. Talk about boring.

Download the enmpire v2 mod mate.

Do a search in the mod for all references to the faction you want and you will see exactly how it's done using the examples in the mod.

    It is easier that way.

The mods on http://www.respawn.co.uk and I also believe its on the the org too.
