problems patching to 1.2

Hi all,

Fist off i'd like to thank the EB for the unexpected release.

Now to my problem, I made the 'mistake' of buying and installing Barbarian invasion and installed the new 1.6 patch. Now that EB is out I like to have a go at it as you can all imagine.

Seems easy enough just uninsteel the game, reinstall, patch to 1.2, install EB and there you go. But after reinstalling the game 4 time I got the same error from the patch... "game already patch to 1.2,cannot reinstall patch" or something in that line. So i though the game had magically updated itself, so I try running EB and get a error as expected. (can't remember what it said but its not important)

After thinking about it I reinstalled the game a 5th time, started it at it said version 1.0. Now i got a bit confused :uninsteel: til I ran uninsteel, searched for rome and there I found a couple of entries for BI 1.6,I deleted all these, reinstalled the game but still can't patch to 1.2 .

Any advice except format c: would be appreciated.
