WOOT !! I love MP

LOL, I know you're all going to laugh at me, but I always shied away from MP because I have the inferiority complex of "you all sound better than me".
But dammit, I just gave it a go for the first time (RTW), and it rocks!
And luckily... not everyone on there IS better than me, if I'd played one of the better players I'm sure I'd have got my arse kicked big time. But a 6500 denarii game was ideal to start, and he was even worse than me.
What I'm wanting to say is, if anyone sees a user with the name "Slugger" and wants to give them a few tips there... don't be shy.

I reckon I could get quite addicted to this.

Strange you liked it now.. Really no players to play with.. And even if their are any, as soon as they see you are a 'good' player, they admit defeat and you realise the last 30 mins were just wasted.. :(

Not "strange", first time I've played it. And I'm not a "good" player like many of you may be. I just thought it was about time to play "Total War" instead of total startegy with a bit of war.
But yes, I've got to agree with you, I've played 2 games online and won both of them fairly easily. And I suck big style. Maybe the gamers aren't there as you say, but I reckon there's many better players there than me which means a good fight for me in future. If I ever reach the dizzy heights of some of you, maybe then I'll bitch... but for now if anyone sees me there and wants to show me how to fight MP I'd appreciate the help.

X-danger. why don't we meet up and you can show me how good you are? (you can't win now, because you either show up and waste your time beating my piddly arse or you don't and then you won't live it down ;) )

Edit : I've fluked 3 in a row now. 3 cheers for me... lol.
