    Default The Vandal Elite Challenge

Hi everyone, im posting here today to inform you all about a new 1v1 tournament being hosted by my clan the Vandal Horde. This tournament comes close on the heels of the stunningly successfull Vandalism invitational tournament also hosted by us. This is a 1v1 competition with a cash prize for both the winner and runner up and we are looking for more people to enter, most of the spots available are for members of other clans but we are keeping 6 spots available for ronin players. If you are interested please come and check it out at the Vandal Horde forums.

P.S sorry if this image breaks the size limitations. I have a larger image that could be used on the main page of a website hint hint :)

    Hi Wish,

If you're looking for ronin players you could try posting at heaven games? They have that thing where a few of their rtw mp players stick HG in front of their name but it's not a real clan, so they're still ronins and are quite skilled (I advertised LH tourney there and one of them came over and participated, with your cash prize you'll probably get more).

But anyway, good luck with your tournament :)

Heh, we already got the news at out forum, but I guess I can't be their beacsue of age limitations. Good luck with your tourney fellas! (I really think that most skilled players are in clans by now, and those who aren't, aren't connected to the community).

Let him not laugh too gladly when the water runs through his fingers, nor stand too silent when the setting sun makes red the veld with fire. Let him not be moved when the birds of his land are singing, nor give too much of his heart to a mountain or a valley. For fear will rob him of all if he gives too much."

Aonar/Vestorius/Vorcid/Lionnreach did used to be in LegXGemina though before they disbanded. He is though the only good active ronin that comes to mind at present (not saying there aren't others, I just can't think of any).

I know that Monarch, that's why I didn't use 'all' instead of 'most' :P

I really think it can only be a skirmishing army. Surely not a melee one heh. But it wouldn't do good against an army of clibs (Sass), IMO.

You have never play Aonar then. He can beat pretty much any one with it. ;)

Any waht I think we should stop going of topic now. :P

Why stop going off topic? That's all the fun of forums. :P It is though a pretty good attempt at playing Sarmatians under TWPL rules and it can catch you off guard quite easily. ;) Though I'm not sure how well it would fare against Rome/Sassanids etc (I always go nomad, usually my treasured Goths, when my opponent does).

Yer get around his archers 9normaly upgrade heavily with easter archers) and you have it in the bag. Sarmation infantry with no upgrades don't normaly last to long. :)
