Default Samurai Mod - Multiplayer Mini Campaign VIII

Samurai Warlords Battle for Kose-Dagh Province (directly East of Alx).

This Sunday July 2nd 2006 at 19:00 GMT (8 pm BST UK – 3 pm EDT US).

The map for all Matches is to be fought on (fL)_O_Kose-Dagh.

    The current Rules and Standings:

    http://www.clanwarscomp.org/warlordmap.html

    Important Notice:

In the first phase of this Competition we are auctioning off Provinces to the High Kills scorer for the days Matches. Up until now that has been simply comparing the number of Total Kills, with no other considerations.

However, The Emperor has told me that although this does demonstrate Strength in a Contestant, that from now on we must modify that qualification by subtracting the Total Losses. That this will add a dimension of skill requirement that he believes is absolutely necessary for the future of The Empire.

When all Provinces are Assigned, we will move to an Clan vs.Clan warfare phase, where Teams will Challenge each other for Lordship rights. Then it will be a winner-take-all Competition. But until then, Lordship will be won by the Contestant with Best Total Kill score, minus their Total Losses.

Good Luck and Have Fun All

    Everyone is Welcome!

Our proposed meeting this last weekend (June 25th) came up a little short.

I myself had a CWC Clan Match to fight in, which I really did not expect to have to do (Hunters always come out in mass for these things). But duty called, so I had to go.

However, this next weekend is looking very good to get back in Samurai Mode, so have changed the above date, and hope we can get a decent turn out for Lordship of Kose-Dagh.

The undisputed winner of today’s Matches was MizuYuuki, with 1136 Kills minus 529 Losses, equaling a Score of 607.

    Congratulations Supreme Lord Yuuki!

    Master of Kose-Dagh Province

Also playing in this event were AggonyDucky, Ras al Ghul, and Hunter Tomi.
And some faces new to the Samurai Warlords Competition.
Welcome Silent Ereshkigal, GO Hindustani, and Ugly Goat.

We had some connection problems this time. Maybe due to holiday weekend traffic? I hope that was all there was to it

Will update the Contest Map with all of the above, this coming Tuesday (day off).

    Got the Samurai itch yet?

Almost every weekend we get together for a few Hot Battles.

    Great Fun!

I had written the day off, but if you gents want to test your skills for another Province, I will be there.

If I have it figured right, the WC Final Match should be over at 20:00 GMT

    10:00 PM in Berlin*
    9:00 PM England*
    4:00 PM New York*
    3:00 PM Chicago*

    *Daylight Savings Time

Let’s get together then at our usual 19:00.

We can certainly play, and hopefully be able to have some big games after the Cup watchers are finished

I will work up the particulars and post Samurai Warlords IX. I’m still working on the Contest Map update and upgrade (30 Faction mons and participant Clan mons and grouping ).

Mate, you've mixed up the time.
It's starting in approx 10 hours from this post on.

    1:00 PM in New Jersey

Ideally we try to have at least 3 games, with sometimes more, and sometimes only one.

Depending on how long it goes at any particular meeting, we welcome folks to join in any time we are starting a new game.

And although all Samurai Warlords have extreme patience, please come as prepared as possible. I have seen this group wait over an hour and a half for one player to get squared away with the necessities. Now that was amazing, and not the only long wait, but lets not test this.

    Must Haves

I would suggest you make a copy of your current VI game (if you have the room), rename and add the Mod to it. Set the Stats switch, and play only Samurai Wars with it. That way there is never any confusion over which Stats the switch is set to.

And it will come in handy later if you should decide to add the Sounds and Voices from the original STW game (advanced work).

P.S. Just found out that I personally may have CWC Clan Match at 19:00 (depending on who all shows). One to two games at the most.

This should not stop any Samurai battles from taking place at the same time. Just tell me what the scores were, or send me the logfile to have the results entered.

I will join in as soon as possible

Oh. Thought the matches would be Saturday. It seems not many could make it yesterday though (I couldn't either ) so I'll try again the 16th.
