Help me..shogun throne bug!

This thread has been a great help. I finally have gotten all of the codec issues resolved and now the Throne Room throws another problem. Every time I get the Portugese Emissary and I try to accept his offer the game drops to the desktop. Does anyone know how to fix this? HELLLP!

Are you running STW + MI, STW-WE or just STW? If it's any of the first two (the same thing) then go into then options menu and try disabling all of the event videos for now. When other factions send emissaries, does the same thing occur? Or just the Portuguese envoy? For the last one (STW), ensure you've installed the latest patch.

I'm not sure why one video would crash and the others don't. You may want to try reinstalling in order to rule out any corruption. Apart from that there's not alot else I can suggest without knowing more about your system.
