Thread: some questions

  1. #1

    Question some questions

first and foremost: Loyalty. will generals with low loyalty rebel against me if they have a large army? or do they need a city somewhere to riot and cause the roman rebels to appear. also is it possible for a faction leader to ever rebel? how about the heir? and finally how low does their loyalty need to be for them to go rogue?

the bug-fixer sticky: will installing this "patch" work its fixes on saved games?

    Default Re: some questions

In the only BI Roman campaign I've played I rarely saw family members go rebel. Usually it was ungoverned cities that did. But then again, I never allowed low-loyalty generals to control big armies and actually went out of my way to send those troublesome christians on death-marches through Sassanid deserts to kill them off.

    Faction leaders can rebel.

RTW, 167 BC: Rome expels Greek philosophers after the Lex Fannia law is passed. This bans the effete and nasty Greek practice of 'philosophy' in favour of more manly, properly Roman pursuits that don't involve quite so much thinking.
