You wouldn't believe how popular facebook is amongst university students - I've started counting the time before it's mentioned in conversation amongst a group, usually not long...
Ive also heard the girls take pictures of themselves bending over a bed and other things.....

well....I do have an account......(if they haven´t canceled it already).

I joined after my friends bugging me about it.....joined....saw no interest in the thing...lost interest in about 2 days.

I do use www.livejournal.com tough....I find it has much more interesting features (including the option to restricting the acess to the people you have in your friends list) and a good group of interesting users.......

in myspace (and HI5) all I see is a bunch of people trying to get laid.....on livejournal you can find all kinds of interests.....if you look for it you can find the "trying to get laid" crowd too

I had signed up for a MySpace account to see what it was all about. That last of all about a month before I deleted my account. MySpace is such a slow site and it is just lame. The number of friends someone has, has more to do with status than anything else. Some people have a rediculous number of "friends." The poorly laid out pages of some is just horrendous. And the awful music....

I don't use it, because I consider it a pointless waste of time.

However one of my mates has a great one devoted to his (immaginary) butler Jeeves. Also he insults most of my mates there (Great for a laugh).

I would guess around 80 % of myspace useres being "emo". Also if you ever want to download virus and the like' unwillingly to your hearts content myspace is almost as good as porn.

This site is actually the furthest I've ever gotten into web culture. No myspace, no facebook, no instant messaging, no chatrooms, etc. For that matter, I don't have a cell phone or a PDA either, so I pretty much live in the stone age (though I do have an ipod now of all things ).
