Anyone else been excommunicated & called a Crusade in the same turn?

I'd been the Pope's best friends all game (as England) but he was in my way, so I attacked Rome - instant excommunication - assaulted & took the city - Pope dies in the process - my eight cardinals vote my guy into power - Pope reconciles my faction - I use diplomat to offer new Pope alliance - he accepts - relations now perfect - ask for crusade on Jerusalem - he agrees.

It was a busy six months.

I did something like that last night. Went straight from excommunicated to having my guy as Pope when the current Pope got old and died. Being Hungary means you end up with oh so many cardinals.....
