well had a great day yesterday on VI...got a good 8hrs of play in,,,those who missed it missed a good day...were alota excellent battles and times had by all...was good to see folks from days gone by...who said mtw was dead...bah

Yes it was a great day...never thought we play like this ever again, it was lots of fun. Special thanks to our european players who stayed up all night...they know whom they are.

Yes server is still up...last night we played past 10pm US central time for at least a couple of hours. I showed up late around 7pm but the majority of guys were playing way earlier than that. We had all and plenty of 4v4 games, simply the best. Today (saturday) is also a good day to play where many show up. Mtw/Vi Revival Meetings are still alive during the weekends...Friday thru Sunday. Im actually going there now...

Better ask Caravel if your system will run MTW, Swoosh, in the main hall or apothecary. If you get the Gold edition of MTW/VI make sure you download the 2.01 exe from the .com site and *patch it* to v2.01. The Gold edition is actually v2.0.

MTW/VI 2.01
The X1950 should run the game ok but you will probably need the "button fix" if you plan to play campaigns. For battles (including MP) you should not have any issue. Worst case scenario you may need older drivers.

well i have instaled vi on my laptop and the SP mode works , now to try MP once again , ahh the fought is wonderful.

Yesterday a lot of fun and, after long time ... enough ppl to have 2 games running at same time ^^
Hope Aggony Vets back soon (as would be great if also Heerbies and other old clans could do the same after loosing some time in ETW ^^ )..

Have you tried reading the big thread in the apothecary? The campaign map is not that important to you, if you want to play MP right? So unless you have an Nvidia 8xxx or 9xxx series card then you should be able to get battles to run quite well?MTW doesn't work with my graphics

i have an 8800 on my pc so cant play it there, but i can play it on laptop :)
i have now tried custom battles and also spoke with ChatMonitor briefly in lobby, all is well.
i shall join u tonight gents, altho i am rusty lolol

It was indeed nice to hunt again allthough in the first game we were the hunted :) Timing and other stuff is off as usual after a long absence.
