    Question That Vanilla thing

I've heard alot about vanilla M2TW, people say that it makes the game much better. I was just wondering if someone could tell me where to download it and how to install it?

Vanilia is normal, no mods or anything, if people are saying it is better, then they mean that mods are not necessary...

I don't have M2TW, but i'd guess that it is the same as RTW...

You download the mod, and if it has an installer, you direct the install path to wherever you installed M2TW, let it install, and when it is finished you load it the same way you run M2TW (It overwrites the old game).

Or if it comes as a folder with a different version of the Data folder, you just take everything in the folder and paste it over your Vanilia files...

    Not the same anymore

You must have the files unpacked, and use a BAT file to launch the game.

Omanes will be here shortly, I presume, to help you out.

    Good day.

One important thing: almost every mod comes with a file where you will find instructions on how to install it. For some reason, alot of people always seem to miss those.

So, if you download a mod, most of the time you'll find an 'how to install'-guide in the download section and/or in the files accompanying the mod itself.

Take the time to read those guides and you'll be ok.

It's astonishing how many people fail to see the purpose of the readme

Yes, it's not as if the file had a name like "youdon'twanttoknow.txt" or awcomonthat'ssoold.txt

(says this Caerfanan guy who neverreads those readme files! )

    Another thing:

It's a good idea to back up your original files, so you can restore them if your don't like the mod. If you install a mod without backing up and totally hate it, then you have to reinstall your game, which wipes out your saves!
