You will have to create a new unit, as you can only modify arquebusiers for every faction. There is a tutorial for adding you own unit to the game just below this thread.
Before for this backup your modeldb file and export_dscr_unit.txt
Try do it this
Open your modeldb, find the musketeers entry, once located musketeers entry, you can copy all entry and paste it:

First in the "ownership" write first england so in the era 2 too like this:

for the attack bullet and melee, look in "stat_pri" the first number "14" is the value for missile attack, 14 of damage for musket bullet, you can change this value as you wish, and for the melee attack look in the "stat_sec" the first number "6" is the damage value for melee damage, so you can change as you wish, and the second number after 6 its "1" that is the damage value for the charge, so same, you can change it as you wish, after do it this save your file , and go to ui folder, and look in the units folder and see in england folder many tga files, that is the unit icon, you can desing your own unit icon in photoshop or copy the another icon and rename it, in the england folder look the arquebusiers.tga, copy to another folder and rename it #musketeers.tga and copy paste in the england folder, you have the unit icon done, so go to unit_info folder in the england folder we do the same process search arquebusiers_info.tga and copy in another place and rename it to musketeers_info.tga and paste it in the england folder, the icon process its optional, not required for this work, if you dont do this your unit icon will be a peasant. So this is done execute the bat file and enjoy fire scots bucks, it hope this helps you, and sorry for my bad english
I have amend the above as per instructed, however, my units are invisible on the battle field. Have I done anything wrong?
Is there a step by step guide on how to add a unit to a fraction in the forum?
