You're wasting YOUR time. Tell me ONE mod this size with such a small (but excellent) team like this, that would have been finished now, and I'll send you a cookie by mail. Sure, Bwian isn't that active, but who said he aint gonna return? And even if he'd been active all the time, it's not enought time to release a big mod like this.

Hey relax you dont need to be so aggressive, i want this mod just as much as anyone on here, but i am a realist.
For the last 3 months we have had only 1 person doing any work, Alletun, he has designed some amazing units, but design is only a small part to making this mod.
So unless something changes very quicky this mod is going to take around 2/3 years to complete and at that point hopefully the Total War team will have purchased the Warhammer licence from Namco and will be creating an official game which would be awesome.

I wasnt trying to piss anyone off but if you want to believe this mod will ever be completed then great, i dont end of.

As more people might be wondering though, what would an army of 200 of those Dwarfs do to your CPU ? I don't want to be a whiner, but i have no idea what difference these kinds of models are to the Vanilla ones, it seems 3000 polies is quite a lot (from what i know of the uber basic stuff).

No problem, I just expressed my views, and well, maybe I do type a bit agressive, but that's not really what I meant :P

But yeah, I do agree that it really IS possible that this mod might die because of inactiveness, but it's just that I too often see people that looses hope for a mod because it wasen't released one month after announcement.

So yeah, sorry for my inability to type and not sounding like I'm in a frenzy :P

Back to topic! I too am wondering how the poly count is comparing to the M2TW models.

About the polycount:
The average m2tw unit is 2000-2500 polys
So 3000 polys is not that far out of the polygon-budget
With a good LoD system like m2tw's the impact of those 1000 extra polys will be unnoticeable (unless your computer is really really old).

Don't know but it seems that Alletun is the only one posting any sorts of screenies, keep them coming dude but just out of interest, i thought the Dwarfs were Bwian's project on the mod as he did so much work before, has he given up ??

He's a captain, so you'd only have 1
Unless he's also destined to be a units officer, in which case, max 61 (if 3 per unit are used + overall captain)
But that wont happen, as I get the feeling this team wont settle for 2 of the same officer in a unit, so your CPU is safe

Well said, you should be happy somebody like Bwian is making a mod like this for you in the small amount of free time he has left, so stop nagging about Bwian not inactive He has already been gone for a week or so but he returned, so I'm confident that he will return agian, he will not leave without telling us.

2) have you guys thought about looking for more modders it might help get more peopel working
