    Default Map textures

    Did a quick 1v1 custom battle to check all was installed ok with the Beta 8 Mod.

    Tried two maps O_Mizuland 1 and O_Mizuland 10.
    Both maps were showing badly matched tile colour. Some were dark shade and some a sandy colour.

    I know that during map making textures have to be matched so as not to 'show the join'.

    Hi Jochi,

    you've to make sure that you use the right terrain and architecture.


    Your screenshot looks like you've chosen ARID.
    When you choose Japanese instead they show up fine.

    Now I understand why the map looked as it did. I was not aware of the japanese terrain and architecture settings for this Mod.

    We cannot fix the arid textures. but we could replace them with the lush textures so that custom battle and MP could be played without rain. However, playing without rain removes tactical elements from the game.
