Thread: IB for MTW2?

  1. #1

    Default IB for MTW2?

Well, I realise that this is rather a massive undertaking but I just wondered if it had been considered. MTW2 obviously has more modding options than RTW, better diplomacy and more faction slots.

Oh, by the way, would it be possible to get a look at v7.03's mini map?

Thanks Ramon, thats great. I might just go back to this. MTW2 mods havent yet reached this level of maturity.

next version (7.04) will be out soon, hopefully in a couple of weeks, it is designed to be savegame compatible w/ v7.03. It will have additional unique buildings especially in the East, a rebalanced EDU, AND IMPERIUM JULIANORUM, a campaign based on the life of the Emperor Flavius Claudius Julianus, the Apostate.

Nice map. Is that the one from EB? They both look great, just wondering. Maybe I should just shut up now and try out 7.04 ~:D

nope, we developed this map ourselves, based on Lionskin's work. I have no idea what map EB uses.

EB goes a bit further south and east.

EDIT: This is looking awesome, btw. As soon as I can get someone with broadband to download it for me, I'm going to give it a try.

There is already a Late Roman Empire mod in development for M2TW called 'The Gathering Storm'. It doesn't look like its going to be released anytime soon though....

What you say, noble Baldwin, is nice. But personally, I wouldn't be in much of a hurry--RTW is already fantastic as it is, and I"m quite satisfied luxuriating in it. It's not that fast to make mods, so give it a little more time--maybe next year we'll see plenty of M2TW mods. To you, I say: more power, and Hawooh!
