I heard that politics is going to replace religion. Does anyone know how politics will work (will each country have their own politics or will it represent how free the citizens want to be)?

It will be, from what i can gather, a set of policy like things you choose. Harsh ones can work for a limited time, but if in place too long, the citizens will become unhappy. You can become an enlightened nation, giving your citizens freedom, but I think it will let spies infiltrate you easier.

Thats sounds about right pevergreen, looks pretty interesting and makes sense in the grand scheme of things, though religion play a part its more political by then.
