3 dsmax and Mesh files

Hello
I have 3dsmax 7 ; I wish to import the Mesh files from the "INDIAN" directory (Mods>>Data>>AMERICA>>DATA>>UNIT_MODELS>>_UNITS>>>INDIAN) in order to modify the Indians .
My Question is How can I import Mesh file into 3dsmax 7 ?
Which plugin do I need

It has to be put through Milkshape first doesn't it? Then it can be convereted into a Max useable file. Lemme see if i can find a link to the general process...

I put one on top of the other
Now I'm going to pass the texture from the hairs of the highlander into the texture of the indian; (crossing the fingers) ...I really don't know what it will show
