Renaming the city (like I did in the beginning of the game after I took it) couldn't possibly mess up the egyptian navigational "system" (so that they landed there army to sicily)?? Right??

Eh...no.

Anyone have a list of cities that its a big no no to rename?Originally Posted by Ibn-Khaldun
Of course at the moment its a rule of thumb not to rename any city,(especially those ones in Italy)
Just don't rename cities. Unless you've had all your reforms.

Yeah, the Augustan reforms touches basically the entire map.
If you´ve really got to rename a town do it to one of the Baltic ones, like Asodát.

I don't come here a lot any more. You know why? Because you suck. That's right, I'm talking to you. Your annoying attitude, bad grammar, illogical arguments, false beliefs and pathetic attempts at humour have driven me and many other nice people from this forum. You should feel ashamed. Report here at once to recieve your punishment. Scumbag.

Interesting to see the resurgence of AS when the Ptolemaoi looked invincible. Also the late blooming of the Getai and the staying power of the Gallic wars. Only diplomatic interference from me was giving Massila to KH, but the Aeudi got Mediolanum back due to my spies.

This is probably the longest EB game I've ever played and it shows no sign of ending yet.
Oh God, those borders!
So.... MESSY...!
Good job, though, I'm surprised you've been able to avoid conflict with the Gauls. And it looks like the Ptolemies have fallen from a great height. I can't believe they lost Mesopotamia.
What's perhaps most impressive is that all factions (except for the Sweboz) is still alive in 210BC, and most seems to have a fairly stable kingdom/empire.

They were oppressing Gauls. That's why the Romani got it too. The game was conceived as a Gallic liberation game, although the Romani forced me to go further south than planned as they wouldn't accept peace.
I may have another update tomorrow. Ptolemy resurgant!
200bc
The Ptolemaoi are winning the Sand Wars and resurgant in Syria. The AS were slightly undone when the Sabyn changed sides, but we'll see how far that goes.
The mess in southern Italia is my doing. Once i took Rhegium I decided to complicate things for everyone so that they wouldn't attack me. It's worked so far.
The Greek expansion in Iberia looks short lived as both cities are under seige and the Luso have a spare stack in the area.
Pontos is gone, the Ptolemaoi finally did for them and retain Tylis. Baktria is having a hard time coping with wars against all three nomad factions. Amazingly they have remained at peace with AS all game.
After 50 years of defending the Avernii have suddenly gone on the offensive and appear to be winning the Gallic wars. Note the Luso have aslo taken Brittany - not sure how. I'm considering chucking them out.
The Getai have stalled throwing stack after stack at the Lugii but Rhesus kills them all. Noricum remains an independant stronghold with its 3 fullstacks of elite troops.
Any thoughts on freeing Galatia????
I've thought about it, but I wouldn't hold it that far from support. If it rebelled it would probably go back to the Ptolemaoi as it is now thoroughly Hellenised. Tylis on the other hand.....
Don't ever let anyone tell you something is impossible.

If you had posted 2 hours later I would have called it a hoax.
We needed an april fool's day EB image hoax contest. Oh well, maybe next year.
I assure you, its no hoax. And surprisingly not that much unrest when you rule with an iron fist.Originally Posted by alatar

I for one welcome our new Epirote overlords...
Damn. I mean, DAMN.
Just one question: How the HELL do you deal with the distance to capital disorder? It must be obscenely high on the periphery of your empire.
Now... ON TO TERHAZZA! :-P

Isn't 80% maximum disorder caused by distance to capital?
