    Default 1984, Alternative Story

Winston Smith is just a single worker in the Minitruth (Ministery of the Truth).

As everyday, he does his work. He works a lot, and the age of Winston is affecting his job. Somehow, he have problems when he reads. Anyway, its just a single day. He need to change the history, something that seems to be bad.

And its that bad, that you don't know what is the real truth. Who are the allies in the war? Who are them? You are not sure.

But, Winston knew a lot of things. Things that are not told, things constantly changed. He could, sometimes, keep track of those, sometimes no.

He hate the INGSOC(English Socialism) and Big Brother. He is watching everywhere, always. You don't have feeling's, you just have to smilulate your feelings.

The worse thing is, that poor Winston wants to be a rebel. No one wants to rebel against the Party. The Party will destroy you, if you reveal your anger or hate against them. But one thing is sure, he is going to try it, no matter if he is going to fail, and be captured. He believes in Emmanuel Goldstein, whose name has been transformated into something awful for the Party. He has been transformed into the Enemy of the People. And the people believes the Party.

Now, Goldstein knows the truth. The Party tries to make him unbeliable. Such thing isn't good for Winston, and the rest of the dispersed rebels.

    Now, what Winston should do?

    1. Try to contact "The Brotherhood", the anti-INGSOC movement
    2. Try to contact other rebels
    3. Wait for something else.

OOH: I'll try to keep you guys entertained with this one.

It's been a long time since I read the book. I seem to remember that Winston never really had a chance so I'll go for option 3 and sit tight.

Spoiler Alert, click show to read:
Well seeing that any contact we will attempt will proably turn out like it did in the book with us ending up in the prision of the thought police. So best to lay low until we get a fair chance. Since remember when you resist the party your already dead from the second you start.

    Vote: 3

Three! I've read 1984, like Lord Winter and Phil. The movie was quite good, too. (Woot, John Hurt!)
Time to bring down Big Brother.
P.S. Did anyone else think that the Big Brother posters in the movie look like Rafa Benitez?

Winston knew of his, rebellion. Death to the B. B. He deserves death, no matter if a nuclear bomb is need, I will bring one in the name of Goldstein.

Winston is a member of the Party, but he is a rebel. He is doublethinking. He needs to do something important about his life. He needs to rebel, and whip down B. B. forever. He needs to take some serious actions to rebel, but, in a place when everyone is vigilated, how could he rebel?

Then, Winston had an idea. If he goes to Eurasia, could he do something to stop the Party?

    1. Yes
    2. No

Can you give us some more information:

    What is in Eurasia?
We can't just take a decision if we have no idea what so ever why someone would make that decision. What are the potential advantages and what are the potential disadvantages?
We can't make any kind of sound decision without some more info.
