    58BC: GUIDE (PLEASE READ IT!!!)
    http://rapidshare.com/files/81733922...V_0.2.pdf.html
We have created this guide in order to help you understand the work behind this mod. We included Gamplay Tips, Installation Instructions, History of the FRRE team and many more goodies.
    Version: 0.2
    Date: 06-01-08

    RECOMMENDED SETTINGS
    Battle: Medium
    Campaing: Medium
    Unit size: Huge

    FEATURES:

    YCFATSAID:
This is a new concept for the RTW modding community. YCFATSAID: stands for "You Can Forget About The Stupid AI Diplomacy"!!!
We have managed to gain full control of AI behaviour and it will not break alliances unless we script it to do so.
Moreover you will no longer fight against fragmented and unrepresentative armies. Instead every battle will be a life and death struggle against full stack enemy armies comprising the relevant historical units!

    SCRIPTED MISSIONS

Another feature of the mod is the skilful scripting of Salvor "Magic fingers" Hardin.

The path to glory lies ahead and many enemies will try to stop Caesar. Defeating the Helvetii, Ariovistus, the Veneti, the Nervii and the Catuvellauni will provide the player with some of the toughest challenges presented by any Mod. Fiendish scripting means that success cannot be taken for granted. The Great Revolt of Vercingetorix represents a fitting climax to Caesar’s quest for glory. However in this moment of triumph bitter enemies in the Senate threaten to take everything away from him. The Rubicon must be crossed!

    New Quotes:
Nearly 500 quotes have been collected by our main historian Bucelarii. All of them set in our timeframe.

    MAP:
A new map has been developed by Anallein and Bucellarii reflecting the historical situation in 58BC. The roman world has expanded rapidly during the past 50 years and external enemies are greatly reduced. Now, the real enemy lies within...

    3 NEW FACTIONS:
The Helvetii are on the move aiming to migrate westwards through Gallia Transalpina all the way to the Atlantic coast. The integrity of the Provincia is threatened ....will Caesar allow this?

The Nervii are the fiercest of all the Belgae peoples. They will violently resist Caesar and his loyal legions...

The Cautuvellauni are a people in formation, challenging the other tribes in southern Britain and agitating in support of the Veneti against Caesar. Their war leader Cassivellaunus must be taught to acknowledge the imperium populi Romani

    NEW UNITS:

Here is the preview of the roman legions
HEre is the preview of some of Caesar enemies

    NUMBERED HISTORICAL LEGIONS:
Numbered legions with their own unique skin bring beautiful visual effects to 58BC. The veteran legions of Gaius Iulius Caesar march once again through the mud and blood of Gaul and across the dusty battlefields of the Civil War. Each soldier is irreplaceable.

Retraining the numbered legions is not an option. Every man counts and tactical deccisions are the key for keeping your army alive.
The script provides for periodic suplementa to refill the ranks of the army. Not only will you have to defeat the enemy but you will also have to take care of your men. Tactical planning is more important than ever.

Lots of people have worked on this mod, please remember to read the credits in the Guide. Hope you like it.

    Yours,

    :tacticalw The FRRE team :tacticalw

Default Re: 58BC: Caesar Imperator! Version 1.0 RELEASED!

This second post has a link to the "manual" installation version of 58BC. It's a little more difficult to install than the installer version. The difference is that you have to create the shortcut to the -58bc folder manually and you won't enjoy hip63 wonderful installer!

    DOWNLOAD LINKS .RAR VERSION (Manual):

    http://www.megaupload.com/es/?d=FU4Y0A9L

    http://files.filefront.com/58+BC+V10.../fileinfo.html

    http://www.badongo.com/file/7026723

Installation instructions for the .RAR VERSION(more info in the Guide)

58BC requires a clean BI 1.6 installation on your hard drive. The installer will guide you through the installation process but, at the end, it all comes down to pointing the installer to the main RTW folder.
58BC will install in a separate folder inside your main RTW folder by using the –mod function on the 58BC shortcut. This feature has been the tendency on RTW mods for more than a year and we can rest assure that 58BC will be compatible with any mod that uses this function.

After you have installed 58BC you will have to follow this steps:
Create a shorcut to the rometw-bi.exe file in the main rtw folder and place it on your desktop.
Right click on the shortcut, hit "Properties" and edit the "Target" line adding the following line after the last quotation mark:
    -mod:58bc -nm -show_err
REMEMBER TO ALWAYS START THE SCRIPT AFTER LOADING A SAVEGAME
