Trust me, my friend -- you can't imagine what that month will be like til it actually arrives. There is simply no comprehending the swirling madness of last-minute pre-nuptual preparations until you're in the middle of it!Originally Posted by ajaxfetish

Looks like a real cutie, ajaxfetish. Congratulations! Marriage can be a lot of fun, and I wish you both the best.
Congratulations! She looks like a great catch. Well done.
May the two of you enjoy a long and happy marriage.
Uhm, my interest in the following is entirely academic, and sorry for being so bold, but do you mean with 'school' that you'll marry straight out of high school? And, to be even bolder yet, did the two of you 'save' yourselves for each other? Just curious - after all, you are a native from strange and exotic lands to me.
Well done Ajax
No harm in academic curiosity, Louis. By school I mean undergraduate college. We should both be getting bachelor's degrees this spring. I'm a few years older (24 vs. 21) because I served an LDS mission between my freshman and sophomore years. If by 'save' ourselves for each other you're talking about virginity, then you've definitely stumbled into my strange and exotic land. It's a standard expectation within Mormonism, and I'm reasonably confident the answer is yes on both our parts (not that I would consider that a necessary criterion in choosing a partner). Future plans include working and saving for a year while applying to graduate school, and then letting the winds of admissions committees direct our course.Originally Posted by Louis VI the Fat

Wait, do you have 24 years? Are you marring too young?
Names, secret names
But never in my favour

It's you I love
