    Hi guys
just a little question that been bugging me.

when you start at campaign game as the english and send your diplomat over to bribe the welsh for their longbow army. you get the long bows, take over the provence....

but how do i go about building longbow units straight away? all i seem to be able is be able to build normal archers???

any help would be grately received.

    You can't!

It's one of hte silly things in the game - have a look in the tech tree to see how you build them.

You can't build them straight-away unfortunately, so husband them well. Look at the tech tree - IIRC, you will have to build quite a high level castle (maybe the one after keep)and the associated bowyer thing. It takes a fair while, so start building asap. You'll probably get the bill men in Mercia first, another English build priority.

    Thanks

funny though the prvence should have them in the army, but without the facilities to build them.

sorry about a noob style question, but what are billmen?

Billmen are anti-cavlry/anti-amour infantry. They are quite good.
