Are they real historical units ?
Are they real historical units ?
Serve the Emperor above all others
Naptha pots were definately used in Sieges, but I dont think they were commonly used in open battle somehow.
Might be wrong though.
Yes they were used in small numbers - a number of "odd" units were used by various nations - flaming carts, Greek Fire (Byzantine), etc.
And hte first use of gunpowder as a weapon was somethign a bit odd too - Chinese "fire lances" - like a rocket on the end of a lance, with the exhaust facing theenemy - you lit it then charged pointing it at your foe!!
History is replete with strange stuff!!

My favourite weird unit were 'The Dogs of War'. Which gave rise to the phase 'Let loose the dogs of war'
These were specailly trained dogs sometimes armoured and equipped with a large blade strapped on their backs.
They were trained to run between the feet of enemy units especailly cavalry and cause disruption.
I think a large dog with a blade strapped to its back running between my legs would definitely cause some disruption

Crush your enemies, see them driven before you on the field of battle, and hear the lamentation of their women.
Dev quote>>Sigh, ye of little faith. Don't assume everything is a bug.

So all we need now is a "Kennel" building (combined with a swordsmith if you want the blade on its back)!
