Default Hi King Louis Assurbanipal and Everyone Else Here

I would have guessed the French(who just happen to be my favorites during this period)as well, so that got shot down pretty quickly. Maybe Saxons? That is just a wild guess, but I figured hey, why not? Anyway, I've been keeping an eye on this mod-in-the-making and I'm quite glad that someone decided to take on this particular challenge. I would like to add this reminder, however, : The period to be covered in EW also included the War of the Austrian Succession so I hope that conflict will be given its rightful place in this mod. That said, Godspeed to the creative genius(es)behind this work. For what this is worth, you have my emotional support if nothing else.

    Default Infantry in French Faction

I hope my favorite infantry from this period, the French, will be depicted in this mod in their silvergray coats. Unfortunately, that isn't always the case in wargames set in this time.

great work guys they look fancy but only one question how come the polish have their own jannisary units in the game? i know that for some time ottomans ruled some of the southern poland and as a result ottoman empire used polish auxiliaries on some occasions but in no way i think that the polish would have adopted the turkish system of military. is there any historical source on this? or is just for putting more colour into the mod? but i must admit they look nice.

    Default The French, of Course

K.L.A., you couldn't have asked an easier question as far as I'm concerned. It must be the French with their silvergray infantry coats - simply irresistable!! Les Francaises are my wargaming favorites from around 1480 to around 1830 so this choice is a clear-cut no-brainer for me. Thanks for asking.

K.L.A., thanks for putting up that good looking artwork showing the French infantry in all its glory. You give me something serious to look forward to whenever your very promising mod becomes available. Good luck with that!!

I cannot register or even see ETW site due to a large pop-up that obliterates the screen and does not go away!
I have pop-ups blocked on my computer.

If you might add Italy, then maybe add Savoy and the Kingdom of Naples, would ask the Lordz what Italian kingdoms were really important or look at TW: Napoleon 1 Italian factions.

Default Inclusion of Bavaria - Good Move

I like this. The French are my favorites in this period but their Bavarian allies(for as long as they were able to stay in the war, which unfortunately, wasn't very long)are also a welcome addition. Do you have any screenshots for the Bavarians yet? I guess you will post some when you do. I hope your Bavarian infantry(the line units, anyway)will be depicted in those bright blue coats that were a hallmark of theirs. They will come in handy to give the French an occasional rest from those grueling battles in the Total War series that we all have come to know and love.

If i were able to vote () i would have chosen the Danes just coz im Danish and want to have super Navy and rule Europe! I'll leave Sweden and Finland (and meby GB depends if they make me mad) alone Cos i have friends that have ethnic backgrounds from those countries. As far as Prussia and Russia is concerned. Default Saxony is 15th playable faction

Saxony will be 15th playable faction.
It won't be one faction with Poland as I wrote before.

    Anybody have new proposal?
Now there are 15 playable factions.

    sorry, none around.
but, you know, for the seven years war I work on a website that deals with uniforms in that period (mid 18th cent that is). I can ask the cybermonk for permission to let you use the info (i.e writing it down-no copying the pictures). it is at www.kronoskaf.com

(I joined the guild to find you and share this with you-to help in the mod)
    though unfortunately it's under construction
