    Default Castles historically accurate?

Hey EB team, I was wondering if you were going to use castles in EB II, or if they were ahistorical to this time period and won't be implemented. Or maybe you've found a completely different use for them?

Interesting... I assume that you cannot elaborate further on this topic, but I suppose that you are refering to the Castle as the alternate upgrade of a city, and not those permanent forts you build in kingdoms, right?

Ooo, I like it. Founding military or trading colonies, which could later become full fledged if there is sufficient populaiton would be a great gameplay dynamic.
