    WOW

no, not world of warcrack. WOW as in OMFG that's awesome. I have to hand it to the EB team, that right there must be hundreds, if not thousands of hours of work. The only downsides i see to this are the somewhat stiff animations when the Hoplitai are fighting or when they stop running and start charging. But the first could just be the camera angles.

It was also kinda funny though when I saw the general is still the MTW2 vanilla

And one other thing: are some of the weapons missing textures? Some Phezataiori seem to be holding completely black sarissas, or a black sword. Yeah, it is kinda of stupid thing to mention, but I just wanna make sure I'm not totally insane or anything or if that's the way it just appears from the camera angles and shadows.

But in spite of the really minor things that really don't even matter, I will say it again: OMFG thats awesome

gamerdude873, good catch on some of the textures, we just spotted those ourselves a couple days ago. I think they're fixed now. And thanks for the compliments.

one expects that you'll have to wait to play the tutorials and read the manuals to find out that info.

Henceforth there shall be a new word to describe pure awesomeness distilled into liquid that has then been shaped into a CD to contain data made out of pure genius. This word shall be "Gaza-campaign".

While browsing the EB2 forum, I found out this preview.

Now, for some reason, I kind of missed it when it was first released, but wow.

A tutorial campaign, and one based on the Diadochi wars. That's like a bottle of awesome-sauce. Can't wait to kick Antigonos and Demetrios' arses as Ptolemy. And we'll probably have Seleukos as a general, that's freaking neat.

Other than Ptolemy, Kassander and Antigonos, can we get some hints as to which factions will be involved?

Since it's a tutorial, I guess we won't get to see all of the diadochoi or city states involved, but having Lysimachus would be cool.

The factions will probably be Ptolemaios, Seleukos and Antigonos, since they correlate with actual ingame factions. Maybe the KH will also be present as a faction to simulate the neutral city-states. But I think that'll be about it. It's a tutorial campaign with focus on the Levante.
(Awesome enough for a "mere" tutorial campaign, if you ask me! )

Will the phalangitai be fixed? Having only the first two ranks present pikes is an issue.

    Everything else is amazing though.

Seeing as you haven't played the game yet, and other than the asethetic point, its a bit premature to talk about "fixing" anything. With regards to how it looks, afaik it is impossible to increase the number of pikes being held horizontal to beyond three ranks (when in guard mode).

Anyway, wait until you actually play the game before you begin talking of "fixing" EBII.
