    I believe it is linked to the vanilla Marian reforms, which you can't really affect without using the console. It just occurred in my game at around 215 BC. I prefer my old bodyguard with their missile attack actually...

    It kicked in relatively early in my latest campaign, around 225 in fact. As this is the first time I've seriously played a Pahlava campaign (I know, I know), it's quite interesting to see how the reforms work, as I'm not used to this faction yet.

    The later one is better and more versatile in melee though. And looks historically more accurate AFAIK.

    Could you add a list of province names and settlements the reforms are possible in to go with the map. That would clear up confusion over what provinces are in the map.
