    Default The Papal system?

I just wonder if the Papacy system from M2TW will be used in any way in EB2. Though maybe there's hard to find a dunction for it. But I don't know, maybe there was some Greek oracle with loud opinions.

Also, will the map be the same as in EB1, or will it be larger (like for example going a bit more northwards)? Or maybe it'll be somewhat smaller?

It will be the same map, but I think the scale will be slightly larger (1:1.3). So it will just seem bigger.

The Papal system will not be used in EB2.

EB2 will be on the same map as EB1, just larger scale (distances between given cities will be longer).

What was the purpose of making the map a larger scale, other then making it harder to keep control of large empires?

Probably to encourage a larger proportion of field battles in comparison to city battles. Nice, eh?

It would be fun to use papal elections for Consular elections once a year

Yes, it would be. I don't know M2TW much, so I don't know if it's possible, but please keep in mind that there were many more oligarchies than the Roman Republic, friend.

    From the FAQ:

Q: Will the Pope and Cardinal elections be used in any way?
A: The pope and the cardinal elections require the usage of an unplayable faction slot. Since one of EB's goals is to have all factions as playable nations, these features will not be used.

I can't understand how you, Methuselah, didn't know that, ie. how come you haven't read the FAQ. I mean, you practically live in these forums...

:edit: And besides that question has been answered already in this SAME thread!! Man....
