Default A Pledge Not An Oath

The Code of Honour is a pledge, not an Oath.

Many Clans have Oaths of Loyalty; there should be no confusion on the difference there.

Likewise many Clan have excellent Codes of Conduct, and don’t feel the necessity of duplicating their commitment to honourable behavior.

And no one is asking any one to choose one over the other.

I believe that a person can sign on to an Oath of Loyalty and Code of Conduct of their Clan, and still support our Code of Honour.

Accepting The Code is simply a declaration that you understand that respectable behavior is essential to maintaining a community.

And if you think about it, being a multiplayer without a community; is impossible!
